Education is how well you meet the qualifications the role states, and context covers where the role is and how it is worked. A role whose title puts it at a seniority level you selected reaches your digest from 6.5, and every other role must reach 7.0. Every match shows its overall score and a plain-English explanation.
Do I need to run the scout?
No. The scout works in the background. You do not schedule it or start it. It regularly checks the sources it watches, and scores the new roles that best match your search settings. Only matches that clear the quality bar reach your digest.
Does MeridianRoles auto-apply to jobs?
No. MeridianRoles never applies for you. When a role scores well, you can ask for a tailored CV and cover letter, but the decision to apply is always yours. This is a deliberate design choice, not a limitation.

What job sources does it monitor?
MeridianRoles searches general job feeds that gather roles from many sites, for Life Sciences roles that fit your search settings. It also reads employers' own careers boards directly, including the boards of companies on your watchlist, where it can find them.
How does the tailored CV work?
Save a match, or paste in a role you found yourself. MeridianRoles then reads the job description alongside your Standard CV and your Extended CV (a detailed account of your career that you upload). It rewrites your Standard CV for that role, putting your most relevant experience first. You also get a cover letter, which draws on your Biography Statement for your voice. Neither invents experience or achievements.

What happens to my CV data?
Your CV, Extended CV and Biography Statement are stored securely in your account and encrypted at rest. We use them only to match roles to you and to create your tailored documents. We do not share them with employers or show them to other users, and they are not used to train models. You can export all your data or delete your account at any time.
